In general, every designer has a different way of working to accomplish tasks. There are more than happy to use the manual way with a pencil, brush, paint, canvas and paper, there is also a computer with the help of the software program Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, AutoCad, or other design software programs. Although the methods used are different but their goal remains the same, to realize the inspiration and imagination into a form of visual or audio product that is aesthetically and marketable.
Different types of products that are designed course will be used in different ways, to create a design or artwork that uses more gradation effect.
In this post we will focus on how to create a design using fabric paint that many effects and color grading with a variety of different ways:
1.Design Fabric Painting.
To create a design painted on cloth which has many effects and many gradations of color, there are several ways that we can try to apply, among other things:
A.4. If we look at the example above as a reference design in this discussion, the design concepts used in these tips more or less like this concept.
Consider the design example above, this example is a design that has been completed, then the coloring process early, to display its design is less than 50% of the design view. This means that the design will look like unfinished (like just for background), note the color of the group that blur ... something like that is less than 50%. Then the next 50% were with the emphasis contrasting motifs in several parts, so that the design has a rhythm and a story that can also provide dimensional effect.
B. DRY TECHNIQUES WITH PARAFFIN
B.1. The first step is the same as that carried on painting techniques create your design wet cloth.
B.2. There is a difference in this stage, if the wet technique using water, but in dry techniques we can use liquid wax or paraffin is also commonly referred to smear the entire surface of the fabric. The trick is to first melt the paraffin heater, stove or other heating devices, the main thing is to be liquid paraffin with paraffin so that sufficient heat can seep up into the pores of the fabric.
The purpose of the use of paraffin is as controlling the course of seepage and water color on the fabric surface.
It should be noted that the use of paraffin in this technique differs from the technique of batik canting that we often know as the batik making.
To stain the fabric with paraffin we could use a new brush, as we often use a brush to paint the walls.
B.3. Coloring stage or at the same stage of making design motif.
For dry technique with paraffin pattern making process can be slow or relaxed compared to how the techniques used in the wet with water. Water poured upward and color fabric surface can already be controlled by the existing paraffin on the fabric.
Below is an example design using fabric paint is dry technique with paraffin.
Consider the design example above, especially around the rim look at the design motifs that still leaves
white color, white is the color of the fabric left over after the process of coloring in each motif.
In this stage there are two ways we can do:
Method 1: Create a design motif to finish then the background color is black on the second stage to the finishing.
Method 2: Make the background color to black with white leaves the color of the fabric which also has formed a design motif. Furthermore, the color for the motif is given in the second phase to complete.
Both of the above methods we can try to practice, according to the conditions and the comfort of our ability, but certainly between both methods have their advantages and disadvantages, advantages and disadvantages are:
Advantages Method 1: The process of coloring black background made on the second phase will provide space and freedom of movement are possible there should be additional motives, because the state is still allowing a white background in the plan to use a color other than black coloring can still give us more easily. However, the coloring and motifs will make faster.
Disadvantages Method 1: The uniqueness of the design as it is the contrast between the colors - other colors on a black background. Therefore, in a way we have not been able to see the first direct effect of the contrast, because of the lack of a color other than black background, another deficiency is also due to the type of effect on the motives deliberately not given details. Thus the concept of sketch design required 99% exact same as the original design.
Disadvantages of Method 2: For the second way is more or less the opposite of the way first, the freedom of space and motion have been limited by a black background that was made earlier. For additional motif design with a color other than black would be quite difficult for us, despite manipulation in many ways the result will not be as clean and fresh as white cloth is left intentionally given color. So the way this will be longer and slower than the way 1.
Advantages Method 2: Contrast color design already we can see although other colors for a motive has not been given. Design can be said to be in the category of design in black and white if necessary.
Besides the way - way above there are many other ways to make a design with fabric paint, fabric painting design techniques such as wet and dry transfers, painting and fabric design with a canting paraffin, to engineering design with fabric paint with air brush.
For more details will be posted later.
hopefully useful, and Good luck.

To create a design painted on cloth which has many effects and many gradations of color, there are several ways that we can try to apply, among other things:
A. WET TECHNIQUES WITH WATER
A.1. The first step we have to do is, Put a cloth on a wooden frame measuring 50 cm x 100 cm. Cain is mounted in the frame to be in gusty conditions, therefore adjust the widths of fabric to the size of the frame is used. (The size of which is used only as an example only)
A.2. Cloth that has been stretched in the frame before our next across a surface wet with water. Keep evenly moist should not to get stagnant water only on one part only, to flatten the water on cloth, we can do it by taking part of the stagnant water with a brush before we have to take the brush and reduce water use tissue or cloth dry, do this way to look pretty.
A.3. This is the stage where we have to take into account the time that will be used during the coloring process, because in this stage we are like the original race with wet cloth without us knowing the process of drying the fabric can be faster than our coloring process. For this stage will have much to learn, such as the temperature of the room where we worked, the water content in the fabric, design concepts and techniques used effects, all of this will be inter-related factors.
The concept of design that has been carefully prepared to be very supportive during the process of coloring the fabric in wet conditions, because if we are unsure of the concept it is likely we will stop and use the time to think while drying fabric will keep running.
